4/29/2013 · DSAMG – Dragon Soul Absorb More Glorious, and Diversified Dragons are known to cause this. Those mods need to be updated with a Dragonborn patch that incorporates the fixes from the UDBP. Skyrim Unbound will cause this as well due to the script being unaware of the changes for Dragonborn.

12/14/2013 · There doesn’t seem to be much solution to this besides killing more dragons until you get a soul. Try killing ones in set locations like Shearpoint , Mount Anthor , and Bonestrewn Crest I haven’t run into the issue much at all with non-random dragons.

You can’t get your dragon souls stolen on Skyrim I believe, only on Solstheim when you haven’t killed him. I have a couple of mods about dragonsouls andkilling dragons may be causing all dragonsouls to stop being absorbed after visiting Solstheim, and Miraak did show up after killing the Dragon and Dragon preist up on a mountain in Skytim.
You cant absorb the soul of a dragon you revived with console. The game doesnt allow it because of anti cheat measures. If that was what you were doing that was your problem all along.
2/21/2013 · I have Legendary and had the same problem stuck on first dragon could not absorb soul . After a huge amount of looking around I finally fixed it. Here’s how. Go to C:Usersyour nameAppDataLocal Skyrim (Make sure to show hidden files first as this folder is hidden.) Then you will see 2 files DLCLIST and PLUGINS, 1 Can’t absorb dragon soul So for some reason I can’t absorb Sahloknir’s soul . Now this wouldn’t be a HUGE issue except I can’t progress in the game, ’cause if I can’t absorb this dragon’s soul , Delphine won’t do anything for me. And before anyone asks, I looked in my shout menu. I am incapable of absorbing the soul . No idea why.
