5/31/2007 · I should have just listened to the majority of the advice out there. Although, there are some that insist a death grip is required during high-stress shooting . My newfound relaxed grip allows me to shoot very accurately and to get the followup shot on target much quicker. Oh, and one more thing, keep your eyes on the front sight during followup.

3/23/2011 · Im not telling you how to shoot but try putting just the tip of the finger on the trigger and do not squeeze the grip as hard and let the boom be a surprise, guarantee you’ll get tighter grouping. Good luck and happy shooting .
shoot . Ask yourself what your bullet will hit if it misses or goes through the target. Before shooting , be sure the barrel is clear of obstructions, including excessive oil and grease. Do not let water, snow, mud or other materials enter the barrel. Do not pull a firearm toward you by the muzzle.
1/22/2008 · Depends on your wife. I have the subcompact in 9mm and can shoot it fairly accurately one handed and weak handed. For my wife, fits her nicely…recoil is not a problem…but she can’t functionally rack the slide as well. But then again, she can’t rack the slide on .380s either…Sigs, PPKs or any of that ilk. So she shoots revolvers.
10/28/2016 · Just some guns help you get their faster than others. Bottom line, for 10 yards with a little dedication you should get there consistently (from new shooter status ) in a month (say going to the range 1X/week) just to use a rough time-frame (possibly sooner). 25 yards might take longer.
9/12/2020 · Align the sights on the target and press the trigger to the rear. It may be tempting to pull the trigger before re-acquiring a sight picture but this will greatly diminish accuracy. Having a stable stance and proper grip will expedite the process. The better your marksmanship fundamentals the faster you will be able to shoot accurately .
6/18/2015 · safety features should never be a factor is choosing a handgun. shoot what works best for reliability and accuracy. if you follow the four rules of safety, and keep your finger off the trigger until you need to shoot , all those safeties just create additional points-of-malfuncton/failure.
I found this pistol hard to shoot accurately in slow-fire @ 15 and 25 yards but got a little better as the testing proceeded. While I had no scales by which to measure the trigger-pull, it did not seem that much different than the Glock, although it did seem less smooth. I could get decent groups, but had to work/concentrate for them more …
2/5/2013 · Maintenance. Looking at the parts, it pretty much breaks down almost exactly like a Glock. You wind up with 5 parts: the lower, the barrel, the spring, the rod and the slide (whereas on a Glock, the rod and spring are one piece). I like that the spring and the rod are 2 separate items on the XDm.
